Squires Buka Outing

So I wrote earlier that if I get 5 comments in my previous post, I'll post our buka outing pics yesterday. Well,we got 8 comments so here we go guys. The name of the Place is Squires Restaurant located in Canning Town. They sell authentic west african food at affordable prices. (that I can testify to be honest)

The only but is that there is no enough room between the diners and the service was not too exciting as the waiter that served us felt he was doing us a big favour by giving us some real african local food.

Now to the food itself which obviously was the reason  why we were there. Their food is Delish!!! The last time I ate Amala was in 2009 and seeing it yesterday in that massive white bowl made me do some Komole moves. See pics after the cut.

See me smiling like a kid at the sight of Abula!!! *covered face smiley* Now to top it up, we ordered a chilled bottle of Palmwine! Yes! you read right. Palm wine or Emu like the Yorubas call it. How they did it, I don't know but all I can say was it's worth the £4 per bottle.

My long throat made me stare at Bola's food comparing it with my eyes which is more while Bola was having a good conversation. Chai!!!

Caught this dude on Camera! His hand capture is priceless. It's obvious he likes food just like me!haha

Ayamase (Left) Pounded yam & egusi(right) soup with cow foot

Still amazed at the huge bowl in front of me which sadly I couldn't finish because it was massive. #White house Yaba memories hehe

So when next you are in London or if you live in London, make sure you visit this place. You won't be disappointed. They have extensive menu (hardly anything you won't find on their list) and above all the prices are affordable. I think 70% of their prices is between £7-£8 per plate and trust me , it's well worth the price.
